My very first blog post

Welcome to my blog. This is something I've been thinking about starting for awhile.  There are so many blogs out there I wondered, do I have something unique to say? Is my life interesting enough to write about, will people want to read it? There are so many 'healthy living' blogs out there, I didn't want to contribute to the white noise.  

But then, who cares?  I DO have things to say, I know a lot about nutrition, and maybe it's a good idea to add my voice to the din, so that maybe it'll rise above the noise, and people will benefit.  Let's see.  My plan is to post weekly (or almost weekly) on a topic that is important to me at the time.  It'll almost always be food related, that's where my expertise is, and I plan to stick with writing about what I know.
