Banana Bread

February 20, 2017

Today, in Ontario, is family day. Because it's a holiday, I had time to get stuff done around the house.  I had a bunch of frozen bananas in my freezer, so it was time for some banana bread.  My aunt's recipe is my favourite, and I chose to bake them into muffins this time around.  My Grandma likes to have some muffins on hand, and she usually buys a dozen from Tim Horton's to keep in the freezer. Since those are more cake than muffin, and since it's family day, I thought I'd bring these over to her house!

Recipe:

1/2 c butter

1 c white sugar

2 eggs

2 c flour

1 tsp baking soda

3 bananas, crushed

1/4 c chopped nuts (optional)

Mix ingredients in above order.  Thin to desired consistency with milk.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour (for loaves), 20 min (for muffins), or until toothpick comes out clean.
